My husband reckons Mr C always looks grumpy but I think he is more serious and distinguished – you decide. He is always hanging out with the Mrs and parading about the tank. A gorgeous chap!

I’m not sure how many cichlids you have, but do you have any problems with them and the plants?
Hi there, I’ve just got two, a male and female Golden Dwarf Cichlid. They are the only Cichlid I have come across that are ok in a peaceful community tank and do not grow too big. They are apparently happy as long as they have a small patch to call their own although I haven’t seen any behaviour that shows they have sought out their own territory yet; perhaps that would come if they start a family. They swim through the plants and the female seems to sit in them sometimes but they are not noticeably eating away at them. No problems so far…
